Teaching enables me to give the aspiring artist what I believe are the fundamentals of painting and drawing. I strive to help my students to feel the joy of producing art.

PAINTING IN OILS AND ACRYLICS - FULL
This class is for the absolute beginner student as well as those who are familiar with the basics of painting in oils or acrylics. Emphasis will be on how to plan and start a painting, mix colors, brushwork, and composition. Students will be given step-by-step demonstrations and lots of individual attention. A supply list is available in the Adult School office.

LEARN TO DRAW THE EASY WAY!
A great class for learning basic drawing techniques using wooden pencils. There will be step by step demonstrations and fun exercises in order to develop strong drawing skills. You will be amazed at how you can draw what you see in such a short time! After you get acquainted with the tools and how to prepare and maintain them, you will practice the value scale, the pencil strokes, and some shading samples.Then you will bring your own favorite still life objects or black & white photographs to draw. A supply list is available in the Adult School office.
